The main pathologies treated

Your discharge will be decided by your neurosurgeon, depending on your medical status.

Discharge procedures – APHP

The nursing team will provide you with all the documents you need for the post-operative period:

  • Discharge orders,
  • Prescriptions for post-operative care and staple removal
  • Follow-up appointments,
  • Hospital report for your medical doctor  A final report is usually sent to your physician within 15 days of discharge. 
  • Depending on the pathology, ambulance or cab transport may be prescribed.

If necessary, and if you are unable to return home directly, a stay in a rehabilitation center may be considered. It can be discuss with your neurosurgeon during the pre-operative consultation.

Before leaving the hospital, you’ll need to go to the hospital discharge department, located in the yellow sector at Gate 6, to complete your discharge formalities.
