Spinal tumors

The main pathologies treated

Neurosurgery treats tumors of the spinal cord (ependymoma, glioma), nerve roots (schwannoma) and spinal cord sheaths (meningioma).

Lesions invading the vertebrae (primary bone tumors or metastases) are also treated.

Several multi-disciplinary meetings (Ghost RCP: Tumors and Bone, Neuro-oncology RCP) are organized each month to define the most appropriate therapeutic and surgical strategy for each situation.
