acompaniment of patients

C2R Rehabilitation masseur-physiotherapists work with neurosurgery patients on medical prescription.

After carrying out an initial diagnostic assessment, they define personalized objectives and implement appropriate rehabilitation techniques to restore maximum functional autonomy for all patients.

Depending on the context and pathologies, they accompany patients from bed rest to the resumption of activities of daily living and walking. To achieve this, therapeutic programs combine efforts to limit sensory-motor deficits, muscular strengthening, and improvements in balance and endurance.

They may be called upon to intervene in respiratory pathologies to prevent or treat upper airway congestion.

For patients with swallowing disorders, specific re-education programs are set up in collaboration with nursing aides, nurses and dieticians. Advice will also be given to patients and families.

For patients who have undergone spinal surgery, regaining their autonomy goes hand in hand with advice on back maintenance and ergonomics, so they can resume their professional and leisure activities.

The C2R team of rehabilitators remains at the disposal of patients, families or professionals for any advice.
