Research activities of the Neurosurgery Department
The neurosurgery department is developing specific expertise in basic and clinical research into diffuse low-grade gliomas. On a regional level, a great deal of work is carried out in collaboration with the neurosurgery department at Hôpital Sainte-Anne and the UMR 8165 CNRS team. On the national level, Pr. Emmanuel Mandonnet is head of the RENOCLIP network’s “diffuse low-grade glioma” group. A large national database is currently under construction. In addition, an international GLIOCOM format has been created to share these data across Europe, within the European Low-Grade Glioma Network (ELGGN).
